Cookie Policy
What cookies and similar technologies Weurkico uses, why, and how you can control them.
LAST UPDATED - OCTOBER 2026
1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. This policy also covers similar browser storage technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage) that serve the same purposes.
2. What we actually use
Weurkico keeps tracking to a minimum. We do not use advertising cookies, social media pixels, or cross-site trackers. Here is the full inventory of what the platform sets:
| Name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Essential - required | ||
| session | Keeps you signed in and carries security state between pages. | Session |
| remember_token | Optional "remember me" sign-in, only if you enable it. | Persistent |
| CSRF token | Protects forms against cross-site request forgery. | Session |
| Preferences - browser storage | ||
| theme | Remembers your light/dark interface preference (localStorage). | Persistent |
| wk-* flags | Small UI state flags so pages render consistently between visits. | Persistent |
| Third-party | ||
| Stripe | Fraud prevention and payment security, set only when you reach checkout or the billing portal. Governed by Stripe's own policies. | Set by Stripe |
Essential cookies cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in and security features. We do not run analytics cookies by default. If we ever add an analytics tool, this policy will be updated and consent will be collected where required.
3. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Be aware that disabling essential cookies will prevent sign-in, form submission, and other core features from working.
- Chrome: Settings - Privacy and security - Cookies
- Firefox: Settings - Privacy & Security - Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences - Privacy - Cookies and website data
- Edge: Settings - Cookies and site permissions
4. Updates to this policy
